The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
